Threesomes haven't previously been allowed in this exchange. I'm open to the idea of allowing poly ships in next year's round, but for 2018 I'm sticking to the original relationship rules.

Fangirlism was talking about whether to include threesomes this year, that's why I've asked.

I'm sorry to hear that, in this case I don't think I'll be able to participate this year, I don't have enough pairings to participate for my comfort, I feel it would be like setting myself up to be an initial pinch it. I'll wait for the next round.

That's completely understandable, though I encourage you to sign up anyway. You never know if someone might be interested in offering some of your ships.

Last year, fangirlism let in canon character/original character nominations. Are they still allowed this year?

That sounds fine, just indicate the gender of your original character in the tag.

Are darkfic requests allowed, and is it OK to ask for messed-up dynamics? Because if I ask for Joker/Harley Quinn, I'd really prefer that it not be written as healthy romance.

Dark ships and requests are definitely allowed. Since those two have a canonically dark relationship, it's likely that anyone offering the ship is interested in writing it that way, but I can't 100% guarantee it. Your best bet is to be very clear in your DNWs and optional details.
